Lighting
LIGHTINGLighting is probably the biggest component both in scale and diversity.
Lighting basically falls under four broad categories
AMBIENCE - lighting that provides the primary ambience for the venue, such as Fairy Lights, LED curtains, Festoon lights, Uplights, paper lanterns, hanging light features, table lights etc.
HIGHLIGHT - lighting that is necessary to highlight a feature, such as a spotlight on the cake table, the gift table, the seating plan, the head table, the MC position (so that they can read their notes!), floral arrangements, bar areas, food tables etc.
FANCY LIGHTING - that lighting that is installed to create a mood or consolidate an ambience, such as uplighting, lighting of trees or special features in and around the venue, fun lights for the dance floor area etc.
SAFETY AND SECURTY - that lighting necessary to illuminate pathways, walkways to toilets, lighting of the catering areas, carparks, steps etc
