The use of flood llights to uplight (placing the lamp on the ground and pointing it upwards to highlight the features of the tree and obtain depth).For ths reason, these types of lights are usually just referred to as "up-lights"
They are available in a variety of colours, although the use of vibrant colours such as shown in one of these photographs, woudl probably only be appropriate for a smal number of events.
We stock up-lights that operate from standard 240 volts or batteries. So if you have a vision for uplighting in a remote area of your venue with no electrical supply, the battery operated lamps will operate at full power for up to seven hours.
